Day Twenty-Six: Your week in great detail

My week has been pretty good; much, much better than the previous weeks at least. The beginning of the week brought lots of sunshine. This meant windows down, blaring Lady Gaga and letting Brian drive me wherever he wanted. It was so good to just let go of every care and let the first few ray of sunshine pour over me.

CAPT was continuing, so I got to sleep in everyday. I swear, having those few extra hours of sleep in the morning did wonders. I would wake up every morning, dance around my room to a random playlist on 8-Tracks and just… smile. My work load wasn’t too extreme in any of my classes, so that’s a plus. I did get a “bad” grade on an English in-class paper which dampened my mood a bit. But then I realized that the paper was on The Odyssey, and how much I detest the novel, and I started to care less.

The rest of the week consisted of celebrating my best friend’s birthday at Chili’s, getting a food baby, exchanging mix cd’s, dreaming of college, watching good Thursday night television, laughing at Robin Sparkles, going on Tumblr, sleeping a lot, cleaning up drunk messes and dancing in the rain.

The end of the week has brought lots of wind and rain, which I can’t say I am thrilled about. It is however nice to leave the window open and fall asleep the sound. Tonight I went to Starbucks/Walmart with Austin and then went back to my house to watch The Little Rascals with my parents and eat homemade pizza. We later danced to ‘Telephone’.. a lot and traveled to Patti’s house to watch TV and lounge on the couch. There’s something about Patti’s house that makes me so happy. I love being there. Overall, today was a lovely day and it was a good end to my week.

Here’s to hoping the rest of my weeks are as good, or even better!
